Professional Background

Prior to returning to graduate school, I worked as a Labor & Delivery RN caring for high-risk obstetric patients and their families.  During graduate school, I had several intensive clinical experiences including working in a large community mental health clinic treating individuals with chronic mental illness, a brief experience on an eating disorder unit, as well as a rotation in a nonprofit clinic working with women who were dealing with the aftermath of sexual assault and abuse.  I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of mental health issues and bring this experience to my practice.
